We list hotels and lodges in and around Guruvayur, and nothing else. Every hotel is added by our team and managed by its owner, who keeps the rooms, prices and photos up to date. That includes small family-run lodges that the big booking sites often miss.

Hotels are grouped by how far they are from the temple, because that is what most pilgrims ask first. Walking times are worked out at an unhurried 70 metres a minute, so older walkers are never promised a shorter walk than they will have. Where a hotel has told us, we also show the nearest gate (East or West Nada), whether the food is pure vegetarian and whether early check-in is possible for dawn darshan.

When a hotel shows this badge, our team has seen the hotel's licence and the owner's ID, on the date shown on the hotel's page. We do not use the word “verified” for anything else.
