Privacy policy
In Guruvayur collects only what is needed to book your stay. This page explains what that is and what happens to it.
Last updated 27 September 2026
What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, and your email address if you give it.
- The details of your booking: hotel, rooms, dates, number of guests and any special requests.
- Payment records: the amount, status and the payment provider's reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by the payment provider; we do not see or store them.
You do not need an account to book, and we do not ask for your ID online; the hotel checks it at check-in.
How it is used
- To make and confirm your booking, and to take payment and send refunds.
- To share with the hotel you booked: they see your name, mobile number, email, dates, rooms and requests so they can prepare for your stay and contact you.
- To let you open your booking again using your reference and mobile number.
We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.
Cookies
We use two small cookies, both needed for the site to work, and no advertising or tracking cookies:
- A booking cookie that remembers which bookings you may open on this phone or computer, for 60 days.
- A sign-in cookie for hotel owners and our staff, for up to 7 days.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax, and for handling any questions or disputes about a stay.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details, subject to records we must keep by law, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. See our contact page.
